3. Here is some information about how to be sure you can share and open files and folders from one computer to another using W10. Many users when trying to do this from within Explorer\Network run in to a problem with a window asking the user to "Enter Network Credentials". After much searching for the correct information on the internet, I made a call to Microsoft and spoke to a tech support person who over the span of 2 hours tried a variety of methods of being able to access files on the DT and two laptops when all three showed up just fine as being on the Network.

I won't get into all the details as it was primarily one computer that had the issue and the final solution is now added below.

The key to this process which ends up with the process working correctly on Windows 10 is to add each computer the the Homegroup.

Now you are ready to proceed to being able to view the contents of shared files or folders on the computers on your Network and Homegroup.

3. After you have viewed the permissions that are already set, you can now click on the Advanced Button that is right below the "Permissions for Authenticated Users"

4. Once you have clicked Advanced, a box like this should appear, the "Permission Entries" box, which shows all the permissions that are set for the users. Now, after you have spotted the user whose permissions you wish to change, click "Change Permissions.

5. Click on the user you would like to edit, and then click the option that says "Change Permissions" which is right below the box.

6. Once that is clicked, you are going to get the same box pop up, but this time, you can actually edit the options. You do that by clicking the "Administrators" user again, and this time, you are going to click the "Edit" option.

Before editing, the original value was 3. Set to 4 to disable. Just change the 3 to a 4 through the MODIFY menu selection.

After this edit, Runtime Broker no longer runs and the CPU at idle is now only 0 to 1 or 2 percent. Even though I have followed the above procedure, RTB still runs but at a very low RAM usage.

Although it is supposed to be neceessary to run Modern Apps, because I seldom use the Start Menu, I have seen no issue that bothers me other than my Weather App does not run in real time but by simply clicking on it, I get any results of value.

If you have multiple programs under any specific category create a folder here for those shortcuts to the program to reside which you will add from the instruction below.

Next, in order to add something to the start menu, it MUST be a shortcut so now from wherever you store non installed applications, R click the .exe and use Send To Desktop (create shortcut)

Next -- open the Desktop folder from Explorer. Find the app shortcut on the Desktop and Send To Programs (to create this see the link above)

By having the Programs folder open, if you have a folder contained therein which will have multiple programs of similar type then either drag/drop & use Ctrl + to create a copy or R click and drag and from the flyout menu in the destination folder click on "copy here".

Of course if you just use the Send To, later you can create a folder of similar programs if needed and drag the shortcuts to that folder.
